AP Scholar

Hi, I am a Senior and have taken 4 AP exams already scoring 5, 5, 5, and 4. Does this qualify me for any AP recognition? If so, when do I find out? I have seen this award on several resumes but I have yet to hear from the AP.

When my S was a Sr. he had taken 4 AP's and scored 5,5,4,3. He got a certificate in the mail in late Sept or maybe early Oct. saying he was an AP Scholar with Honor. After his Sr. yr and taking 3 more AP's scoring 5,4,3, he got the certificate in the Fall of his Freshman year of college saying he was AP Scolar with Distinction.

I think all the info. is on the college Board website.

The recognition certificates for the AP program are mailed out in late Sept/ early Oct. and are cumulative for all previous exams taken. Here's the link explaining the various award levels:

If you haven't received it by the time you are mailing in your college apps, you can put "AP Scholar with Honor (pending)".

yes it does...
