Hello everyone. I've been getting conflicted answers for the past couple hours, and wanted to clear this up.
For colleges such as HYPSM (and the like), will I ever be forced to send official AP reports if I choose to self report. That is to say, if I'm accepted and decide to matriculate, will any college ever force me to submit the official report? Will I be allowed to not officially send in scores if I choose to not use the respective college's credit/placement system.

Thanks!

I do not know for certain, but giving your question a common sense look - if you want to receive credit for taking an AP - then it just makes sense that a school will want AP to report it to them. I can’t think of any school that would take an applicant’s self-report of a score.

I meant if you didn’t want credit for the classes, then would you have to send the official report. @gibby @T26E4 @skieurope any opinions/thoughts?

They can’t force you to send in score reports. If you opt not to seek credit/placement via AP scores, there is no reason to send in the report.

Even if you did send in the reports, and your scores qualified you for credit, you do not have to accept it.
