So I got accepted to FSU through the Summer Bridge Program so I will be attending FSU starting in the June, and I am currently taking AP Calc BC, and AP Chem. I will most likely get a 5 on both. But my question is that since the scores are sent back in July and I start in June, will my score on the exams be all for nothing?

How does FSU look at AP exam scores from the senior year if you are taking the summer term?

They will advise you not to sign up for any classes that correspond with AP exams you passed or took senior year. By the time you sign up for classes in the Fall, you’ll already have your scores (scores will be displayed by FSU on your Unofficial Transcript a week or two before College Board mails it to you). So, you won’t be signing up for Chemistry or Calculus in the summer.

Chem and Calc are NOT the best classes to take summer anyway. So take some Gen Ed requirements or other classes, and by the time you register for Fall you will have scores.

Students who go as freshman for summer term will register only for summer classes at orientation. You will received advising for summer and fall at orientation, but you will register for summer. When the fall registration window opens up again in early July while you are on campus, you will have little problem getting the classes you need for fall.
