AP scores are in. Log into my.ucla and scroll down a little to see Advanced Placement (AP) Exams. Even though senioritis caught me, I managed to get a 1,2,3, and 4!

i actually got a 4 on biology, omg omg!

does ucla allow us to get credit for all of our ap's or is there a cap?? i was looking at the chart and i think i earned 32 credits with 5 classes but im not positive =/

Not too shabby for mnucla. :)

Thanks for letting us know!

all i know is that if you're an engineer, your aps wont be able to pass you out of much.... i took 8 aps and passed all of them, i dont think they passed me out of anything

You can get out of one/two semester Calculus, Chemistry 20A, Physics 1A & 1B with the APs for engineering.

i am pretty sure that's all wrong lol....what i remember from my orientation is them telling you that the only thing you can get out of is a Writing II requirement, some american institutions requirement, and yeah thats pretty much it.

when do you think we'll get them in the mail?

Mid-July. (ten)

my myucla hasn't been updated with AP scores, this is probably because I didn't indicate the scores to be sent to UCLA originally. But i did request it, so i hope it arrives soon.

UCLA gives equal credit for a 4/5 right?

Don't think you can get out of chem20a or physics 1a and 1b. Although, you can petition to get out of chem20a or physics 1a. I don't believe moments of intertia and deriving them is covered in ap physics.

When I checked the page this morning, a 4/5 in Calculus AB was the same for Math 31A credit. Now, only a 5 gives credit while 3-4 is Calculus credit. Why did this change all of a sudden? I specifically remember it being 4-5.

Wow, I didn't realize the change. I saw it as 4-5 for 31A in the morning, as well.

That really sucks if they changed it all of a sudden. Guess I'm not getting credit after all... Can anyone confirm that this is a permanent change and my eyes aren't deceiving me? It says modified July 2004 so that's also throwing me off.

What's the difference between the course "Calculus" and "Math 31A"?

What does it mean when it says unassigned? Does that mean we can choose what courses it can cover?

yeah they did change the ap credits page. now its harder to get credit for 31a and 31b...darn. anyways, did they always have credit for environmental science? i always remembered environ. science was "unassigned" credit...
