And the APHUG FRQs were a joke this year. They were hard last year tho.
@Trisgent
Econ is definitely one of the easier exams. Unfortunately, it also has one of the toughest curves, with a score in the mid 80s necessary for a 5.
However, the macro exam in particular is incredibly easy if you make any effort to learn the material. I finished both parts of the exam with over a half hour left and only a couple guesses. Micro is somewhat more difficult but still not bad.
AP Gov was actually incredibly easy this year. Especially the multiple choice. FRQ #3 was an absolute joke, anyone with half a brain could’ve answered it correctly
I felt that the APUSH FRQ were MUCH harder than the practice ones online, also they went into periods such as Periods 1, and 9 which I thought were not going to be tested as much. Also The English Language Argument essay was kind of Obscure as most deal with “The Human Condition” rather than silly things like Polite Conversation, which you would see on an SAT test.
AP Euro was definitely a joke…I hardly studied and got a 5 but, I’m good at social studies. I worked really hard on AP Chemistry but only scored a 3, that exam was killer. I do think it might’ve been slightly easier than past years.
@jman457 yea I thought that the apush exam in general was easy too except for the FRQ which really caught me off guard
Yeah according to the web site a student can chose from an essay on pre-civil war or post civil war: but both topics were pre-civil war witch was kind of annoying @blargenshmargen
As mentioned above, AP tests are NOT scored on a curve.
2015 Data coming out of CB:
% of test-takers that scored 5—4:
Physics 1 4.1----12.8
Bio 6.2----22.0
World Hist 6.4----14.0
English Lit 7.6----18.2
Chem 8.4----15.2
US Hist 9.3----17.8
US Gov 9.8----13.6
Eng Lang 9.8----18.4
Euro Hist 10.3----17.4
since it was the OPs test of interest:
Macro Econ 13.8----22
@Herondalle Thanks for giving the site. Hopefully, it proves to be helpful.
I thought human geo was ridiculously easy compared to the practice questions I did, but I wouldn’t say the same for bio. The multiple choice was easy but the free response was difficult for me and I only finished 6 out of 8 questions.
