If I use the AP US history materials to go over SAT 2 US history, is that enough? Or there are something else I need to cover?

yes. AP completely blows the SAT USH test out of the water in terms of content and difficulty

I heard SAT USH pays more attention on details. Is that true? so all I need to do is do some sample tests before SAT exam right? thanks=)

I took both, and personally, I thought the MCQ on SAT II were a lot more specific then the ap test. Some questions were very similar though. Use barrons sat and amsco and you'll get a 750+

I second az1698. I seem to remember more specific questions on the SAT II as well, but a decent APUSH class and review via Amsco and course-notes.org will net you a 5 on the AP exam and a 750+ for SAT II.

No worries.

i disagree.

i got a 5 on the AP US history exam, with a good 30 minutes to spare....cus it was ridiculously easy

sat ii us history...i struggled on and did horribly

i thought the AP was harder than the sat ii

I think it is interesting how many people think the AP was harder.

I took the SAT II on May 3rd and I have to say IT WAS HARD! Like much much harder than the AP exam. I will be shocked if i missed more than 4 or 5 MCs on the AP exam. The SAT II had weirdly worded questions. They were not straightforward AT ALL and they seemed as it they were meant to confuse rather than test knowledge of the history. Where as the AP exam usually had very distinct answers.

ight so its like this

SATIIUSH>APUSHMC

FRQ's/DBQ's are hard if you don't prep for them in class/independent study.

sat had weird ass wording, apush more straightforward.

I thought the SAT II MC was a lot easier, since I didn't skip any... APUSH on the other hand...I skipped like 10. I guess I must have missed a lot on the SAT II. sigh

i thought sat2 was wayy easier than ap ><

^me too. i think i got a 750+ on the sat2 and a 4 on the ap

In my opinion, the SAT II questions were fact-based, and the AP ones were conceptual + focused more on trends.

(I personally thought the SAT II was easier.)

5, 790

I was actually surpirsed at how similar the two tests were. Neither struck me as much more difficult than the other.

My friends who took it said the SAT II was more specific.
