I'm pretty sure that would be fine.

As long as you didn't just summarize what the documents were saying and actually explained the Point of View in relation to what the prompt was asking; I remember the prompt exactly, I wish I could say it and explain how you would have done it.

No, I stayed away from summarizing at all, I basically just connected them all to what I was trying to say about the thesis, and everything. I'm sort of afraid now that I focused too much one how the ____ influenced other things, not how other things influenced the _____ which is what the question was asking. Oh well.

ouch....i dont think ur suppose to cite ur documents that way... u have to do something like this (DOC.2) at the end of each fact.... and plus u shouldnt BUNDLE documents like DOC.2 and 8 both illustrate.... b/c no 2 documents illustrate the same thing...

If they support the point you are trying to make, you are using them as evidence and grouping them, so that's probably alright.

Also, powerbomb does have a point in that it is kind of risky to bundle documents together like that, but you're proooooobably okay.

I was able to couple two documents together; they both had the same POV.

I wish I could say what I wrote so badly! haha.

i think i interpreted like all of the Documents incorrectly hahaha.........

yay.. finally someone who did bad like me on the DBQ.. the DBQ for me was pretty bad.. but i did PoV and thesis and additional doc but i had a bad time interpreting them.. but I did awesome on the change essay and i knew very well one side of the CC but i BSED the other side.

Predicting a 5, 8, and a 6.

I wouldn't worry about it. The prompt really wasn't that in-depth so if you made connections to what was going on in the years of the documents you probably got the idea.

how can be people say that they "beasted" the DBQ?

I mean, I kind of see it more as a set of criteria rather than the point you make... So really to beast it all you had to do was follow the directions. Which really could have been attained in 3 pages.

My teacher always jokes that you could technically write a 9 with any of the AP World essays in less than a paragraph. XD

k... i thought the COT and the COMP/CONT was really easy.. now that most ppl on this thread thought that it was hard,... im starting to worry that I read the prompt wrong or something...

i think i failed.....like <3

yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone can fill the criteria. I say I beasted it because I am like 99% sure I earned some expanded core points too.

Following the directions is basically what you do for all the essays... Write a relevant thesis, give relevant historical information, etc. So I'm not entirely sure of your point.

Okay, so can someone clear this up for me? Will my essay be disqualified because I drew a map? I never read anything about this, now it's scaring me. I feel really not smart now....AND it was a terrible map

disqualified?

NO! They just won't take it into consideration.

I'm on the border between a 4 and a 5. It'll really depend on my essays.

MC: I answered all 70 questions, but about 14 were guesses. Of those, I know that I've gotten about 3 right and 5 wrong. 53-56 raw score

DBQ: The grouping was quite hard for me. I only made two groups, and they were the most simple groups possible. However, I used every document, did 3 POVs and suggested 2 additional docs. 5-6

CCoT: I really feel like this was my greatest essay. I brought in some historical context for the time period, and I mentioned 2 changes and 1 continuity. I'm not totally confident though. 6-9

CC: My essay was total BS. I didn't really remember anything about the topic, so my two similarities and one difference were pretty stupid. 4-6

On the converted scale, my score should be around 80/120. The problem is, I could be slightly off and also the curve could be hard this year. I feel like I definitely got a 4, but I'm not confident about a 5.

No, you won't be disqualified. They just won't count it.

I doodled on one of my extra pages because I got bored.

i thought the MC was alright.. not the best.. i left 6 blank and probably missed 15-20 more.. so about 45/70 raw (without conversion)

DBQ was good for me
CCoT was good for me
Comparison was not too great.. i think i BS'd my way to a 5 out of 7 on that... maaaybee a 6

i think i made 7-8 on the DBQ
6-7 on the CCoT
5 on the Comparison

so that with about a 45 on MC will give me a 4, right?

I think that would give you a 5. Not sure, try plugging it into the grading formula.
