<p>Alright guys I have quite the dilemma. I was offered the margan apartments for housing which are off campus but owned by UCLA. I dont know if I want to keep these or file a CAR and try to get a plaza on campus. I know it is cheaper and has more room, but I wanted to meet people through living on campus then once I find some friends, move off campus with them my second year. What do you guys think I should do?</p>

I’m pretty sure you will meet people even though you are living in the apartments…it’s gonna be all ucla students around you anyways.
I’m SO not looking forward to living in a plaza with 2 other people and sharing a bathroom with 5 other people.
I guess you will have to choose between comfort and the social aspect.</p>
<p>Your right. It was for the convenience factor also like being able to go to a tutor in the middle of doing my hw if I had a problem instead of walking like 15 minutes to get to covel commons, unless there are closer tutors I dont know about. Also I have 4 friends going there who are all staying in the plazas and I dont want to feel isolated damnit!</p>
