What are the best (under $7000 per year) apartments for junior and senior year for a Kelley student? It seems every affordable apartment has bad reviews on the internet. Dorms appear the best value being only $4646 per year so I have a hard time thinking I should move to an apartment after my sophmore year.

Go for a house (always better than an apartment). You can get a good house for $4800/year.

My son used to be in an apartment on Kirkwood, but the heating wasn’t so great during the winter months and the noise from the businesses downstairs kept him awake at night. Now he’s in the area just south of the College Mall and he loves it–especially since the buses stop just across the street from his apartment.

We got the idea for him rooming there after noticing that about half the students in the Investment Banking Workshop were staying in apartments in that area (we looked up the addresses from their resume book). Yes, it’s slightly more expensive (like $700 or so a month), but the amenities are top-notch.

What is the name of these apartments? Thanks
