<p>I've been reading on college websites that most people at NYU are either girls (like 60%) or gay men. Does being a straight man make me a minority :P</p>

<p>I have no idea if the OP’s claim is correct but it would make for an interesting campus for a straight man.</p>
<p>There’s 50% of Manhattan to compete against. I’ve NEVER understood this straight guy logic. They’re like, “oh man, it’ll be easy pickings!” but you’re competing against LOTS AND LOTS OF OTHER GUYS. </p>

<p>Hahaha, it is said that the ratio of straight men to gay men at NYU is 2:1 (or 1/3 of the guys are gay). Therefore, the number of straight guys at NYU outnumber the number of gay men by far. Don’t worry about it. I’m a straight male too. But NYU probably isn’t the school for you if that ratio makes you really uncomfortable.</p>

<p>hmm, well first choice would be either Harvard or Princeton, and then after that it really depends… It’s a close tie between Georgetown and NYU, but in the end Georgetown has much better financial aid so probably them… But idk, NYU looks pretty legit, and have you seen the dorms?? They’re like penthouses!!!</p>
