<p>I wrote about how I really value their science department and how in my senior year I participated in a lot of human rights events</p>
<p>Nothing changed for me yet …waiting, waiting, waiting. Congratulations to those that are now in!</p>

I wrote about how my weighted college classes were not factored in and the fact the I will be graduating with tons of college units. I also talked about my GPA and how my school doesn’t compute weighted GPA and highest you can get is 4.0. For my extra curricular’s I entered the hours in incorrectly and told them that they should be much higher. </p>
<p>I also had my teacher write my a Letter of Recommendation and had my consular write a little snippet about how GPA works at my school. I had both my College and High school Transcript included and also had paper showing in progress classes. </p>
<p>I thought it was very well written, I had my Consular and two teacher look over it and correct mistakes plus include a few suggestions.</p>

I’m nervous…super nervous about my appeal…but I’m so happy the people who’ve been here since the start of this thread have gotten responses back already! Yayy!
Because I still haven’t gotten a response back, I’m (pessimistically) thinking that my appeal was probably rejected…but we’ll see.</p>
<p>Oh, quick question: did everyone get their acceptances/notifications via the myucsc portal? Because that’s the only place I’ve been checking (and not my e-mail as much lol, but I’ve been doing both). Thanks :)</p>

<p>Has anyone gotten in today? It seems like those who found out yesterday got in, while those who’ve found out today we’re rejected. It’s 7:45PM where I live and I still haven’t heard either way yet. Fingers crossed…</p>

<p>Ok, I still haven’t heard and I tried to call yesterday, but I couldn’t figure out how to speak to someone from the admissions #. I’m a freshman applicant, and I’m worried that UCSC might think I’m a transfer (not sure why they would think that, but they still haven’t told me if I’ve been accepted or denied). What do you think I should do?</p>
