I got rejected by UC Berkeley. But I did not mention in my application that I have been taking care of my grandma (Alzheimer's Disease) and my grandpa (colon cancer) since November of my junior year. It was really hard for me to study. Is this circumstance strong enough to appeal my admission? Also, when do they begin to read appeals? I know you can submit your appeals, but do the admission officers read it as soon as it comes in? Thank you everybody.
