Hi everybody,
I’ve just finished freshman year, and I messed up. I found myself overinvolved on campus this semester, and my GPA dropped. Long story short, I have a 2.99 GPA when I needed a 3.0 GPA to keep my Dean’s Scholarship (yeah, I know). Does anyone have advice for the scholarship appeal process at BU? Are appeals often granted, or am I out of luck? I’m really worried about my situation, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
If you were overinvolved in clubs and other activities and you can document that, that may be reason for a successful appeal If you were overinvolved in the party scene, no chance.
agree with @TomSrOfBoston and that said if you don;t know priorities do you deserve that scholarship? ( not that 2.99 is bad, I bet they will let you keep it, but I would be more concerned about your own choices.
My son had to quit cross country which he loved and was recruited for because keep up his grades required more work than he was used to, he was very upset because he felt he let the team down, but he had his priorities straight
