Appeals?

I got rejected from UCLA and when I called and asked why they said it was because I was missing English 1a and 1b. should I try to appeal? I can easily take these classes over the summer. I am from a 4 year and I've taken all kinds of other classes that are probably way harder than english 1a and 1b and gotten As in them like Linear alg w/diffeq and biochemistry and stuff. I mean, cmon??? This makes me mad

VERY long shot, sorry to be blunt

The two English composition courses are part of the minimum requirements for UC eligibility as a Junior level transfer students, University of California - Admissions
It will be very difficult to be admitted without completing these courses by the end of the spring term before a fall enrollment.

I was only missing the prereq of Geology, which i'm enrolled in over the summer; should I appeal? :O

They don't count pre-reqs taken the summer before transfer in admissions decisions

you basically skipped the most basic requirement bud...
dont waste your time with appeal.

bzander: Go through with the appeal. What do you have to lose?

Haha, wait, what? Yes, math and science classes are just like English!

^^ Haha, yea; that's where I stopped reading.

How could I have been so foolish! If I had just taken one semester of Super Triple Organic Chemistry LVI, and gotten an A mind you, I wouldn't have had to bother with any of those other silly "requirements"
