Applicants for USC RHP 2018

anyone applying this year for the Resident Honors Program at USC?

hey I am! Doesn’t seem like too many others on here are applying though. What major are you hoping for?

I’m trying for Film and TV production. What about you?

Media Arts+Practice! I heard sca is super competitive though so I’m pretty worried

Yeah, their acceptance rate is about 2%… I wonder if the applicant pool for RHP will be small this year considering there’s no one talking about it on here. I’m hoping for the best!

I’m also applying to the RHP at USC

oh awesome! what major are you applying to?

Hey everyone! It has been a while since anyone posted in this discussion. Has anyone received any updates to their RHP application or process?

Haven’t heard of this program. Anyone post a link to application site?

@bogeyorpar It’s the Resident Honors Program - It’s for high schoolers that leave HS early to attend college, usually during senior year, applying in junior year. The ones I know personally were recruited directly by USC after hitting certain test scores or getting high level awards or achievements earlier than junior year. (One had perfect PSAT as a sophomore.) Just 15-20 students.

Got it. Who’d skip senior year, arguable the most fun year of the entire high school, to go to college?

(JK, actually I did that as a Junior many years ago myself, so I know the benefits and struggles pretty well. )

Hey! I believe that scholarship decisions come out next week and regular decisions end of March. Did you apply?

I applied as well. Your guys stats make me feel like I have no chance :expressionless: my ECs are my strongest area but then again yours probably are as well  my intended major is neuroscience.
