<p>Hi, is there any non-UW website to help understand the UW admission process? (I'm applying mostly to UCs and Ms Suns blog and other sites I've googled are really helpful.)</p>
<p>For example, how important are the essays? Are there any samples I can see?</p>
<p>How hard is it to get direct admission to CS? (They say 3.8 gpa -- is that weighted or unweighted?)</p>
<p>Is it worth applying to the honors program? (It looks like you can get in during freshman year if you don't apply now.)</p>
<p>My gpa is 3.6uw and 4.1 weighted with 2190 sat (790math,760verbal,630writing). Is that is the right range?</p>
