what for ?

what do u mean "what for?"

What did you want to tell your regional rep?

i guess i want to just introduce myself, but i am not sure if its recommended to just call them up and say "hi." So I'm asking anyone who could give me advice on how i should approach this.

hi. i'm new here. just a quick question. this might sound very dumb, but are you supposed to print off the 40 page application? just wondering...

well, in my case, Michigan's rep (Mr. Somboon) visited our school last October. so after the presentation i chatted with him for a little, and he asked me for my name so he'll knwo who i am (we filled out a postcard during the presentation) . also, i was wearing loong black trench coat that day (Spy Day of course lol) so i probably stood out lol

u realize tat the representative reads applications, he doesnt look at u when he reads it. So i dont c how tat can rly help u.

you can attach a pic to the application

yeah exactly. so that goes back to my question. can you attach a picture if you fill the app online?

Sooooooo,

Is there an advantage of sending in part 1A early?

Alright again,

Why would it matter? My friend and business partner did his ESSAYS the morning it was supposed to be postmarked and he is heading to Wharton this Fall. Stop worrying about these useless things and focus on the stuff that matters.

In the "why Penn?" essay, are they expecting you to just state the plain facts or to be creative?

I dont think they want facts about penn, they already know that.
Just state why penn is good for you.

I know, but like, the other essay is supposed to show who you are and what an interesting person you are, so is this one supposed to be more straightforward? Or is it also supposed to show that?
