Hello everyone,
On the myMIT portal, they have all the documents except the application part 2. I submitted it before the deadline and the application fee was paid, everything went out then but they still have not processed it, over a month past the deadline. Should I reach out to the admissions office at this point?

They will contact you if you have any missing material.

Yes they say that, however it’s clearly missing since it has not processed, but they did not contact me

It may not have been processed because Admissions is receiving thousands of letters to be processed. This is why you should check the blogs/your email for the update that says that they have processed all mail. Make sure you have a ready copy to resend if you need to.

I sent it in electronically, not by mail. They said in a blog post that they have processed all of their mail as of Janurary 18th, and that they notified anyone with a missing component, but I was never notified of any missing piece. What should I do?

I assume that if they didn’t contact you they have it, but call the admissions office so they can reassure you.

Alright I’ll give them a call just to be sure
