Application status says current message sent?

<p>Does anyone know what this means? Usually when I check my application status it just says the whole "you can track the status of your application here...etc.etc.etc." but today it suddenly says in a box on the bottom "Current Message Sent" and underneath it says "Message History Sent." </p>

<p>Does anyone have any idea what this means? I have been looking it up but cannot find anything about it.</p>

<p>Seeing the same thing so they must have updated the site. Just a guess that they would show if they have sent you any messages.</p>

<p>My son’s application status says that too. I think he may have recently gotten an email about financial aid and FAFSA dates (Feb. 1) and I know we just received a postcard on that subject … could that be the message they are referencing?</p>

<p>I haven’t received a postcard from USC for financial aid and my USConnect account says the message and history thing. Maybe it’s because I’m from Ohio - delay due to distance?</p>

<p>@wdemasters02 did you apply by december 1st?
I am from IL so i’m not sure if it’s distance. If you didn’t apply by december 1st, it may just be that they haven’t started to look at your application OR you already submitted your financial aid stuff. I wouldn’t worry about it. I called the office and the woman told me the “Sent” message just means that they have received your application</p>

<p>Ah, it’s most likely just a glitch then, or perhaps someone at your house misplaced it. I’m sure its not a sign of anything, don’t worry about it :)</p>
