Are there schools that accept and will consider applications post M10? I know someone whose circumstances changed recently (job transfer) and are trying to find something in the fall.
After being WL on M10 my son applied to a really good one that should have been on our list - I didn’t realize how close to home it was. We are waiting to hear decision, they said it would be quick turnaround and they are reading 2-3 apps a day. If you search for Rolling Admission schools there is a list.
Parents league of New York has a list of the schools that have spots. It maybe just day school but should give you friend some choices in NYC.
Yes. 7D2 applied as a junior transfer after the M10 notification date of her sophomore year. She was admitted and graduated from that school.
You can Google “Schools still accepting applications” or if you have schools in mind, call or write to feel them out on whether they’d accept an app for this admissions cycle.
There are several schools that have rolling admissions and others that usually have spots after M10. Boardingschoolreview.com usually has the list of schools that have openings. If you need FA, though, that funding is usually already distributed. Just keep that in mind. Also know that the open spots may be for a child with different demographics than yours.
