Ok, I took my SAT in highschool but it was horrible, and I felt reluctant to apply to my dream school, UCLA. Suppose I then go to a community college in Cali, retake the SAT and somehow greatly improve my score.
My question is: Can I apply as a freshman to UCLA while attending a community college? If I can, then how important my CC's record would be? And if they reject me, will it later effect my chance as a transfer?
Which is harder? apply as a freshman or transfer?
My major: Economics.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

you can not apply as a freshman once you take any community /university courses after graduation from high school

Go to a community college, do well, sign up for TAP, then transfer junior status. .. thats your best bet.

or retake the sat now /or during the summer and apply as a feshman again.

Thanks for your response.
I guess I'll focus on CC and transfer.
