Apply to Rice/Baylor or apply to Rice in January?

<p>Rice is my first choice. I really really want to go. I didn't apply early because my senior year grades have been great and I want them to be considered. I plan to apply to Rice/Baylor because I'm sure I want to go to med school after college. My most important goal, however, is to get into Rice itself (especially since R/B is so competitive). Rice/Baylor's deadline is December 1st, and my application still needs a good bit of work. I guess I don't care THAT much about Rice/Baylor. </p>

<p>Would applying to Rice/Baylor help me get into Rice? Or would it be better to take the extra month to perfect my Rice application?</p>

<p>R/B will not get you into Rice. Spend the extra time to work on your application if Rice is where you want to go.</p>
