Applying for fall of 2010 Cornell

Congrats cheeky, your parents must be proud.

lol good enough for me boysdontcryy. i really want my decision now…

Do many people apply to Nutritional Sciences? That could be a reason why he got his decision so quickly. I’m guessing that applicants to popular majors might have to wait longer.

Man, now I’m going to be checking my e-mail every 10 minutes tomorrow. Thank god for iPhones…

hehe me too

Some of you guys on here are really psyched up and pumped about attending and I don’t blame you cause I was at first too and I kind of still am. When I went up to visit though I walked all of campus from some party my friend took me too all the way to north campus to ujamma not the funniest yet the most memmorable experience. I attanded the black and bimediacl confrence and was impressed by the alumni but the weather is soo depressin and the head of the law dept at my college now attended there for grad school and he said he wouldn’t recommend it. But when I told him I was gonna do hotel stuff he said " you have to go there if ur gonna do that major, its #1 in the world" -_-…but even my architect friend says he gets lonely and stuff there. But the cold weather really gets to me. I’m not trying to rain on a y parades but they also had an awful lot of suicides this year which I’m sure ur well aware of and they r currently fencing the gorges if anyone is keeping up w/ the news…p.s. I knwo I sound really pessimistic and despite all I have said I still wanna attend and would if I were accepted and I would love to meet all of you as well…its not always about what you know but who you know that matters

not necessarily, dragonspank who got his decision on april 13th was biological sciences

way to start the 100th page of this thread with a bunch of babbling, pessimistic crap, Brndname. I’m sorry you don’t like the cold? Do you want a huge?

Edit: This was rude. I actually don’t like the cold either ha.

gotta love CALS
they always get their shiet together the quickest

Again, I am really happy for you Cheeky. High ten again!!! Enjoy your moment!!!

@brndname: Cornell University has a beautiful campus. Every campus has problems, but just think of the countless opportunities Cornell University has to offer.

danng, i thought decisions were on a rolling basis. i submitted my application Feburary 14th…

cheeky, congratulations!!! you are currently living all of our dreams. btw, do you have any idea why your decision came out so early?

For those who dont believe Cheeky: one of my tutees who applied for a graduate program at Cornell got in today too. She showed me the email from one of the staffs of Cornell, right in my tutoring session. So Cornell really started releasing their decisions today!!!

Brnd your stat is very impressive. I beleive you will get in without any trouble. Great to see people apply to Hotel school this year have a very high stat.

I never said anything about the opportunities or the countless viable resources you will have acess to. A degree from any of those schools opens doors for sure (hence my username: brand name) I spoke to to a few students up there and they all agreed that they wouldn’t have attended if it wasn’t. About the title

@weirdon: I agree that I have very high chances, and to top it off the transfer acceptance is the highest at the hotel school amongst all others, I believe last years was 26% when I did the math based on the sheet heather gave me at my interview

My stats will be up within the hour, guys. Hold tight. And thanks for all the love. I love this forum.

I’m really hoping that those who have ‘forwarded for review’ as a status will hear from them tomorrow.

^don’t pretty much all of us have forwarded for review?

Guys I was wondering. If you submit a letter from a former graduate from Cornell, how would the admissions know so?

It’s not as if they check the database right?
