^^ Yes castiel. Which is why I’m hoping! Seriously I’m edgy. I’m afraid.

wouldnt the alumni mention that in his or letter? i would think that would be a good thing to mention in the lor

@ boysdontcryy: well in a general recommendation letter the alumni should have enough common sense to mention somewhere that he knows the student body and he believes you would be an excellent fit as a result of his first hand exp, otherwise he would have limited basis for judgement.

Okay. Crosses fingers. I hope he mentioned that.

Is Cornell incredibly fit-based?

And guys, read this: http://cornellsun.com/section/news/content/2010/04/01/university-admit-rate-drops-18-percent

I’m sure he did!

Good job, Cheeky. So does that mean we might get our admissions decisions before May?

I believe they will let you know as your accepted so that you have adequate time to make a decision and if you reject they will give your seat up to the next candidate before they rejct all of the left overs

wrong ^

Most of the decisions come out around the same time, so it isn’t really “rolling.” Also, different colleges send out results at different times.

okay, excuse the misinformation.

@boys: I feel the same way you do.Im super nervous and just want to know. I should be studying for my midterm on friday but this thread is keeping me anxious so i cant.

So we can’t assume that the CAS decisions will come out soon just because it’s confirmed that someone who applied to CALS already got a decision?

I hope they’re released before May. For some of us who feel that getting into Cornell is a long-shot, it’d be a nightmare if we somehow got in but had already paid the tuition deposit for another school.

CHEEKY! Congratulations, that is so amazing/inspiring. We are all so happy for you. Go out and celebrate, and send some of your good luck our way.

CONGRATS!! I would be doing back flips right about now if I were you.

Well worst case scenario is a rejection, the ads com is really nice at the hotel school, prior to applying they had told me if I got rejected and still wanted to attend that I could ask them why and thye would tell me and how to strengthen my application.

CONGRATULATIONS CHEEKY! i sent you a PM about if you want help with that typo, but based on what you said about the credit evaluation, it seems legit! if you want to come visit, send me a PM and maybe i can hook you up with some CALS people and you can tag along to classes, etc

brndname, you sound obnoxious. don’t go to cornell if you don’t love everything about it. you don’t know more than anyone on this thread (except me, i know everything), so kindly stop being a debbie downer. there are tons of people who would love to have your potential spot.

stryke and riley are right. most decisions come out at the same time, sometimes in waves. most are also by snail mail, not e-mail

@ironically: obnoxious? Not at all, I. Don’t apologize although it would seem appropriate. However, youmay perceive me is completely up to u irrespective of the fact that I have less than 15 posts and you can already make such a sound judgement of my personality. I hardly reconsider acceptance b/c of ur comments btw and for those of you who do NOT agree with her, or are indifferent, I look forward to meeting you

keep it cool guys. this thread has been extremely friendly, so please take drama out of here. thanks.

I’m going to side with ironic due to your abhorrent grammar.

I second that

I mean I second the no drama…
