<p>Oh wow, I thought that list of the schools names were of people who already got accepted. haha I joined in to this thread pretty late.</p>
<p>I got my letter of acceptance yesterday in the mail! And then I got an email with an attachment telling me what credits Ill have going into CALS.</p>
<p>So Cheeky and I are the only lucky 2 who have gotten their letters so far? Cheeky Im a rowing nut too!! Haha maybe Cornell just loves us rowers :p</p>

<p>I applied ED last year, was deferred, then waitlisted, and finally rejected. (Not a very pleasant experience waiting all those months and getting disappointed so many times :/) BUT, they sent me this special Transfer Option specifically for Biology. I had minimal paperwork, and apparently I had a better chance of getting accepted. </p>

<p>Crazy internship my rising junior summer: Working under Dr. Jason Blackard in the University of Cincinnati I performed polymerase chain reactions and the ligation of Hepatitis C virus segments into commercial E. coli plasmids. I also participated in lab processes and techniques such as Gel electrophoresis and cloning. The lab researches Hepatitis C mutation patterns in relation to body location, mutational responses to treatment regiments, and mutation patterns in patients with co-infection with HIV. < sry about the weird phrasing, I grabbed this blurb from my application)</p>
<p>College: Lehigh University
College GPA: 3.32 (Freshman Fall semester,) 3.7 (as of midterm grades this semester, I think this is why I got in. I really worked hard to get my grades up to the 3.5 that CALS wants from Bio majors)
Major: Bilology. Lots of lols.</p>
