Applying for Financial Aid -- Wellesley College

I am applying for financial aid and one of my schools is Wellesley College. Most schools financial aid deadline is a month after their application deadline but Wellesley's deadline is on the same day their application is due. ahhhh!!!!

But then I looked a little closer at their website I noticed that they actually haven't updated the year (it still says the financial aid stuff is due Jan. 15th 2012). Does this mean that the date could be wrong or did they just forget that its 2013....

I don't think that I can post the website but for reference search Wellesley College financial aid, click apply for financial aid, and scroll down to regular decision.

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

I am applying there, too! I think it’s either a typo or they just forgot to update it, but I’m fairly certain that they are still due on January 15th. But income documentation (not exactly sure what that means though - I guess for 2012) is due March 1, so you have some time for that.

Good luck with everything!!

But isn’t income documentation part of the FAFSA? Do you send the material separately and if so, how?

Wellesley’s website says:

You’ll need signed copies of federal tax forms and income documentation.

I’m assuming that means that you need to send in actual signed copies separately to the address on the website.

With FAFSA, you can send in an estimated FAFSA based on last year’s returns. After your parents file your taxes, you will be able to go in and update the FAFSA.
