<p>I am currently a senior in colorado, and am wondering what my exact chances are of recieving an loa or appointment. Currently my credentials stand at:</p>

<p>3.7 gpa (at a highly rigorous charter school)
3rd in class of 30
690m 650v SATS
Student body president
class representative for last 3 years
president of several school clubs
varstity 3 years cross country - team captain 1 year
Winner of state math and science achievement award
Nation Latin Exam Award - magna cum laude
record of service through Church, where i am a student leader
pae 12 pull ups 70 push ups 104' long jump 77' throw 52 second 600m
medically qualified
have a nomination to usna</p>

<p>I have already recieved an loa from wp but was wondering if i had a chance of seeing the same thing from the usna. I would much rather prefer to go to to the Naval Academy, but just completed my file yesterday. Anyway, nice to meet you all, and thank you for any help that you might have.</p>

<p>Your stats are very similar to mine and I received an LOA to USNA the first part of October, but in my state, we don't receive nominations until December. You have an excellent chance!</p>

<p>It seems, based on what I see from these boards, that the USNA LOA's are fewer and later than the USMA LOA's. You have great leadership stats, though...good luck!</p>

<p>Thank you both. Since I just recently completed my file, do either of you know in what time period it will be reviewed?</p>

<p>I believe they're reviewing them weekly....but a file can be reviewed a number of weeks in a row before action is taken on it. Depends on what other files are being reviewed that week.</p>
