Applying for the class of 2018 (College starts fall of 2014)

And the time constraints are absolutely crazy for the science section.

im in uae…

Anyone managed to get decent scores on the SAT? I couldn’t get the scores I wanted.

How much u got hassan?

1900 ( Due to 520 in CR) Gonna have to give it again :/

Argh! the ACT today… The science section killed me. I hope I get a 31 or above :/

How was it? Was it too hard or too easy? I’ll have to give ACT in DEC… :/n
How difficult is it as compared to SAT?

@hassan CR is pain in the a*s. my CR score was around 600 in the first practice test i took. after around 5 more tests, it increased to 650 and then it started going down down down. today i solved an official sat test and got a 520 !:(:frowning: its really worrying me. Sat on nov2. 550 in CR and i ll be bouncing on the walls-_-

There’s really no comparison between the SAT and the ACT when it comes to “easiness”…
having given both all i can say is that i like the formatting of the ACT over SAT…as in, all english questions are grouped in one test, then comes math, then writing and finally science… in SAT it’s all so messed up…

Overall, i do think that all kinda of standardized testing whether SAT or ACT is totally pointless coz they really dont test a persons real ability and certainly are not a good indication of college readiness…

^true that

Basically, the ACT’s biggest problem is time constraints. Even if you know the answers and everything’s going well, the test will MAKE you go wrong somewhere by making you do 75 questions in 45 minutes.

Dude, SAT C.R section is bloody hard… At least english section in ACT is easy…

Took a practice test and i got 10 CR passage questions wrong in one section, …IN A ROW:( doomed

Hey can anyone please tell me that if I am registered for 2 sat subject test and on the test day I just give one, so would I be charged any fee and i would still recieve my score right?

@WinningStreak That is correct. And the subject you register for doesn’t matter either. You’ll get a large booklet with all tests inside and you can choose which test to take.

SAT in 13 hrs and i dont know what am i doing :/

[The Life Pursuit](<a href=“The Life Pursuit”>The Life Pursuit)

How was the SAT guys? Did anyone sit for SAT subjects? I don’y know what i did with Physics -_-

Same question here. I hope everyone did well. I think I might have to retake the ACT. But I don’t know that yet.
Good luck guys!!!

My sat went bad. I dont know what to do now. Maybe i should revise my list of colleges; its the time to do so.
CR ditched me.
