I feel so honored to be the 500th reply. All of my hardwork and dedication has paid off. Getting the 500th reply has been a dream of mine for many years, and i would like to thank those who have helped me along the way. First and foremost i would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity. Next i would like to thank my parents. I want to thank my dog Nelson, for always being there for me. I would also like to thank my pet tadpole for surviving against all odds for over a week. Next i would like to thank the squirrel that lives in my backyard for climbing trees because that gives me inspiration that i need to get through the day. I also want to thank Corey Nelson for giving me someone to beat in Mario Party. This is a special moment in my life and i would like to thank any of my unmentioned friends and family that have helped me along the way. This moment will be a moment that i will never forget. I just remembered a few other people i would like to thank; college confidential, the fish i caught in the third grade, my light in my room bc i wouldnt be able to see the keyboard without it, the internet for letting me go on CC, my house because without it i would be homeless, and last but not least i would like to thank all the people out there that actually took time out of their day to read this. I cannot stress how much of a big deal to me this is. I have been trying to be 500th reply on a post for years, but that has not been possible until this amazing day. Hopefully my good luck will continue, but this is undoubtedly a rare occasion. If you asked me how i did this, i would say, you can achieve anything u set your mind on. To all the kids out there reading this, i would like to tell them to follow their dreams. Being the 500th reply is amazing, thank you everyone.

According to the common app, we need to add an extra recommendation apart from the teachers recommendations. Most people get peer recommendations but can I get a recommendation from someone I know online? I have a peer recommendation and the online person’s recommendations both ready and I just have to choose. The online one is far better. I would thoroughly appreciate help =)

Happy New Year! It has been a strange year with many twists and turns, but in the end, everything seems to have fallen into place and worked out well. Hopefully, 2014 will be filled with great surprises and joys for all of us!

ITS OVER AHAHAHAHA. Just 4 colleges left now and their deadlines are reasonably far away ^^ Applied to: Yale, Middlebury, Williams, Amherst, Brown, Dartmouth, Vanderbilt and NYUAD in the space of 2 days (of course I had done a lot of the work before that). Still had to pull an all-nighter. It is 8 a.m. now, good night!

@pkteen Yes, indeed it is. I desire an unorthodox combination of subjects to achieve my purpose. Anyway, also applied to Harvard and Duke and should apply UChicago by the end of today.

Does anyone know if northwestern gives full aid to internationals? I mean, has anyone heard someone go there with full aid, or atleast full aid for tuition?
Thanks

Right now, there are four applications, that I have sent, that I am really happy with: Brown, Cornell (though it could have been more Cornell specific), Richmond and Amherst. I just have a weird feeling inside that suggests that I have a reasonably good shot at these schools. Well lets see what becomes…
