I got my rejection letters from all my reach schools. I am sure that they rejected me especially because of my low gpa. Now, I`m thinking of applying to them again next year as a transfer student. Do you think that even if i get a good college gpa, applying twice would be a loss of time for me since I can not change my hs gpa, and since they already rejected me once?

bummpp bumpppp

My D was rejected by Tufts first time; accepted as a transfer. She took a lot of pleasure in rejecting them for another school.

well, I believe that rejecting them would be a luxury for me. :)

work hard in college, and I mean really hard if you want a transfer. at my school (duke) acceptance is 6% for transfers so you'll be cutting it tight.

Absolutely apply a second time if you really want to go there. I was in the exact same situation. My two top choices and reach schools denied me last year and I applied to them again this year and both accepted me as a transfer. My GPA was not stellar in high school, but I did very well this year in college and I'm sure that was a big part of it. So, don't give up!

Thanks, choirgirl05. I`ill definitely try it again with better stats.

denizco what school are you talking about? just curious..

NYU and BC.

Why NYU and BC. SO different!! NYU is the worst college experience in the country in my opinion, particularly as a transfer.

Anyway, I got deferred than waitlisted at Brown, out right rejected at Duke and Harvard out of high school. Accepted to them all as a transfer.

That
s great for you. NYU has a good business school and it
s in the middle of NYC.
