<p>My planned major is economics but after looking at the Science and Humanities Program (SHS) , i really wanted to try it since i love chemistry too. But it says that i have to apply to both schools. Do my chance of going in to CMU go down is i apply to 2 schools than applying to 1 school? Or if i can get accepted to just one and not do the SHS program, which would still be OK.</p>
<p>Your chances do not change. They will look at your application as a MCS applicant, then they will look at your application as a H&SS applicant. You might get accepted to both. You might get accepted to one. You might get accepted to none.</p>
