$25,000 for tuition ::faints:: Now I really can't breath..

Congrats! If I get rejected to Exeter I'll look forward to seeing you here this fall! Hopefully I'll get in, though! Wish me luck!

x___fat, yes harker in cali, it's a great school. very high sat scores. I have patient's like that. they look at you like you must hate your children to send them away. when I tell them that is was d's idea they back off. the money for college is a valid point. congratulations!

Good lcuk darkfox! You probably will get in...Harker's a great school and I bet Exeter wants a student like you! Eck the admissions process to prep schools is not good for your heart...I think I'm still dazed.

My Child received the acceptance package from Exeter today and from Andover on Thursday. We live on the East coast, but not in the states of the respective schools.

prep4654, congrats, wow, thursday by mail?

all you west coasters hang tight, the pony express is comming. lol

acceptance letters come in packages? is it the same for rejection letters?

I live in North Carolina and I got my Andover accpetance package from FedEx on Thursday and Exeter acceptance package today.

ACCEPTED AT MILTON!!!! YAY!!!!

Congratulations to you all. Very exciting. Which schools are fedexing?

Congratulations on Milton! Was it sent fed ex or regular or what?!?!?!
We're waiting in NJ for that special Milton letter!

Good luck, Shelley!!!! You'd better get in!!!! I got my letter in an orange envelope that had Priority Mail by USPS. So it was pretty normal... I guess..

I HOPE YOU ALL GET IN!!!! Congrats to everyone also!!!!

i'm getting a bit confused with so many reports. Is there anyone we haven't heard from yet? please check in. I hope everyone feels confortable checking in with the not so great news. if that's a problem that's ok too. know that eveyone on the 2 threads reporting in are rooting for everyone else.

Shelley is a parent...

the lines are blurred between parent and student.

My D got into her #1 local Catholic Prep!!! She got waitlisted at another and was sad, but she now says "if they didn't want me, then I don't want to go there!!" Sounds trite, but got her through the moment.

At one school= 800 applicants=80 slots (500 females apps for 40 slots)
We figure of that 40, 10 were for sports, another 8-10 for siblings, so that leaves very few spots for anyone else....a one in ten admission rate surpaces most Ivys....

Anyway, D is thrilled, and with her merit scholarship (for anyschool she could get into) I no longer have tuition!!

Congrats to everyone, and for those still waiting, it will all work out....everyone is so supportative of each other here, you should all be very proud

lol, yeah, whatever, who really cares... just thought it was something you'd like to know. Prepparent, your a mother not a father, right?
