yes, i didn't list that specifically because i didn't think many people would know what it was. do you attend Penn?

sounds great to me. :)

yes i do, though i'm not in wharton

oh ok. since you're in penn, could you chance me for either the college of arts and sciences, wharton, or the huntsman program? anything would greatly be appreciated

sorry, i have a long-standing policy of not giving chances

just apply enthusiastically, and make sure to bring out all of your passions in your application

also i know ward melville people here!

oh really? who? are you allowed to tell me lol?

probably shouldn't put names on here, but suffice it to say, i think your school has a decent relationship with penn - which will help

hmm first names can't be that bad. do you know a steve c.?

hm, okay i only have one actual friend who went there (graduated 06) but i know she has other friends here from your school... shrug

and nope, don't know him

heyy
ok, i think that if you apply ed you have a 70% shot
regular decision 50%
but seriously, the odds don't get much better than that
so i give you a thumbs up
just work hard on the application

thanks for the input zug.

very good chance.

Wharton is certainly very very tough and is a high reach for everyone, but I would say you definitely have a very realistic chance at getting in!

Good luck! and thanks for chancing me!! :D

to the op: good luck. I hope you get in.

I think that you have a great chance, better than most! Good luck :)

I'd say Wharton is a high match to low reach. Your application is very strong.

Whoa, I don't think you should be worried. You've got ridiculously solid ECs, really nice numbers, and you sound driven. I mean, as everyone always says, the Ivies are crapshoots. You never know. But if I was an admissions person, you'd be a shoo-in.

hey thanks for the feedback

Nice stats!!!! If you don't get in, I would be worried abput my own chances, lol.

I think you look rock solid. If you could get those math scores up to as close to 800 as possible, though, that would secure it even more. I talked to the U-Penn admissions dean when she was in my town visiting, and fives on the calculus BC and statistics AP tests also help a lot.
