Hi. Trying to decide whether to apply with as a bio major or an undeclared major at the following schools. Any input would be helpful: SUNY schools -Oneonta, Binghampton, New Paltz and Geneso; non-SUNYs - U. Delaware and U. Mass. Thanks.

None of these schools will evaluate a “undeclared” or a “bio” major any differently. It won’t matter. If you’re accepted/rejected, it won’t be because of which box you check here – it’ll be your GPA and scores.

It doesn’t matter . . . undeclared won’t hurt your admit chances.

I heard that Undeclared is currently the most popular major choice when applying, so it might be impacted. It seems to be a pretty competitive major.
