Appointee Orientation

<p>Hornetguy -- I really like your idea of separating the "kids" (boy is that the wrong word) and the parents. I think both groups would like the idea. Unless I hear objections, I think I'm going to change it to two tables.</p>

<p>I'm going to go with the plan of parents and "kids" then. So, update the list accordingly by copying it into your post. Parentheses for guests/parents not including yourself.</p>

<p>Ok, no problem. We have just added Schaferinabottle to the list with one guest. In case you didn't read the whole thread (like, um, Guy4Christ, ;) ), we are meeting at 6pm in the lobby of the Academy hotel. PM me if you would like my cell number just to stay in touch. Or, you can go to the rest. directly at 6:30 but I'm hoping we can all meet at the hotel to have the correct count. The rest. asked me to call ahead at 6pm. And we are back up to 18! </p>

The orientation agenda should have been sent to you after you registered. If you like, I could fax it to you tonight but would need a fax number. Suggest you PM me. Actually, we'll bring it to the dinner -- I don't think there is anything you need to know EXCEPT be prepared to pay for your boots if you haven't got them. They only accept a cashier check or money order but the Academy bank will be there to provide that. So bring cash.</p>

<p>So I've made a reservation at Hampton Inn and I'm planning to attend the CC meeting at The Academy Hotel. Since I don't think I can rent a car (underage and traveling alone), are there any other forms of transportation that are available there? </p>

<p>Definately looking foward to meeting you all and don't forget we're meeting 1800 (Mountain Time Zone).</p>

<p>The weather here is very unpredictable, so bring appropriate clothing. A jacket is definitely recommended. The temps are supposed to range from the 30s-70s while you'll be here (ranging from sunny to a chance of snow).</p>

<p>Although I won't be going to any of your "College Confidential" dinners, I'd be interesting in meeting some of you. While it may be a bit late for this week's orientation, if those of you in later one's would be interetsed, let me know and I'll give you a way to contact me here.</p>

<p>I'd like to meet another cadet. I have an '07 that I'm going to be "rooming" with, but I'd like to meet other cadets as well. So, if you want to PM or whatnot and, if it works out, I could meet you and ask some questions, that'd be great. Let me know, thank you.</p>
