KUDOS & CONGRATULATIONS Nicole!!! What a great way to get 'THE news.'

Let's hear it for Nor Cal!!!! :)

Yea, bet you felt like "Queen for a day!"

And the wife can be heard commenting in the background ...

"Oh shut up, you old fart! That poor girl has no clue what you're talking about." :(

haha thanks. i'm from just north of San Francisco

We got some bad news in a email tonight but in an odd way. There were 2 emails from our son's B+G officer...one stating that he had a deferred status and might not hear until the 1st of July and then another one stating that "his status was now determined" and that "he's a fine young man who will be successful...etc." So it looks like he was rejected. It seems odd though...from my reading on this forum, I thought you got a call from your congressman if you got in and a letter from the USNA if you got rejected. We were away a few days and went through our mail and no letters from the USNA. I suppose that there is no good way to be rejected....it just seemed like an odd way to hear the bad news. So is my son dead in the water so to speak?

^^^^^
You need to call the BGO to clarify the e-mails. There are no deferrals until 1 July. I-Day is tentatively scheduled for 27 June 2007 for the Class of 2011.
