April 10 visit day

I am coming to the open house on April 10. I am deciding whether or not to stay overnight. Does anyone know the logisitics of the overnight host program (i.e. what time it ends on Friday morning)? Is the overnight host program something beneficial.
Also, what is the best way to get from the Boston airport to Brandeis?
Thanks!

It's worth staying overnight. Provides an opportunity for you to talk to students, not only your host, and get out and about on campus.

As far as logisitics, you will check in for open house on April 10 at the gymn. You'll check you luggage there and get instructions on where/how to meet your host later in the day (usually it's right there at the gymn). There is no set end time on Friday morning. You get up and go at your own (and your host's) convenenience.

Sorry, but I can't tell you the best way from Logan. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Good luck and have fun.

Obviously, you can get a taxi or car service from Logan, but it's also really easy to go by public transportation and maybe cheaper. You can catch a Silver Line bus from outside your terminal to take you to South Station. From there, you take the Red Line subway inbound to Porter Square. From there you can catch the Brandeis commuter rail, the Fitchburg Line, to the Brandeis/Roberts stop from which you can easily walk to campus.

airport to brandeis -- it is possible to take public transportation (either buses, trains, commuter rail), but i don't know the details or how easy that is to do. here is link to mbta - http://www.mbta.com/ there is a trip planner -- enter logan airport and brandeis university and it will show you how to do it. it'd probably be the cheapest way, but not the easiest or fastest. i do know students who have done it.

there is a van service called the airporter that will pick you up at the airport and take you to campus -- i think it costs about $50. a link to their site is on the brandeis admission page about visiting (scroll to bottom). http://www.brandeis.edu/admissions/common/maps.html
you have to call ahead of time to reserve.
