he was angry/critical. but he understood how she had such strong views. so he was sympathetic yet critical

So did anyone order the Test Booklet from this exam? If you can scan into one pdf document, PM me for a trade (I have a bunch of APs, ACTs, SATs, etc.)

So in the English section, there was a question about whether to put

“were __”
or
“_were”

The correct answer had “primarily” instead of “primary”. Does anyone remember whether the choices were like “were primary” vs. “primarily were” or “were primarily” vs. “primary were”?

Does anybody know what the answer for the area of the trapezoid question was? I found the area in two different ways and got 56 both times, but that was not an answer choice, so I must have been doing something wrong…

Also does anyone know what the answer to the eleven sets of parallel lines question was?

the trapezoid’s area was 42.
I think the bases were 10 and 18 and the height was 3.
You probably just forgot to halve the area if the triangles on the end.

The lines was 100.

Thanks Argenia I guessed 42 luckily. The problem was that for whatever reason i found the height to be 4 instead of 3.

For the trapezoid one, could you have found all of the sides and divided the trapezoid in half, then taking the area of both triangles created by this split, add them up?

I’m not going to give a definite no… but I’m pretty sure that if you went the splicing route, the most logical way would’ve been to split it into 3 parts: two triangles and one rectangle.
Not sure how you would’ve gone about splitting it in half.

Oh yeah, that works. I think I may have gotten 42 though by doing it incorrectly. Maybe?

I did 1/2(b1+b2)h

I did that, plus I also split it into two triangles and a rectangle.

is it just me or a) was science more difficult than usual and b) is wartsandall using a thesaurus?

^That’s humorous.

I found the science section to be difficult as well.

I thought the science sectoin wasn’t that hard but who knows I’m banking on it being my highest score and raising other sections to a 30 composite

Haha I apologize most profusely wartsandall; I couldn’t restrain myself… And i’m 95% sure the science was my worst section, possibly by far

One week til scores :(

So did anyone order the Test Booklet and answers from this exam? PM me if so.

^^^Lol, that’s fine.

I hope that we are enabled to miss a few questions on that section.

Anyone know if there’s ever been a science curve that would give me a 36 with one wrong?

^Yes, there have been a few instances of those, but only when the Science section was unusally difficult.
