New to paying any attention to this. What do you guys all mean by “the curve helping?” Isn’t it just a straight score? Also, do West coast test takers get the same essay prompt as those from the East? I’m thinking not. In fact, I’m thinking the entire test could be different. Anyone know?

Hey guys i really need this answered. English seemed fairly difficult today. Did you guys also get no change as an answer two times in a row about 6 times? This made me pretty nervous.

Hi guys just wondering if internationals get different test forms? I got 64b.

yes internationals are different

Seems I share the same sentiments as most people. Science was ridiculously easy imo, it felt like at least 3/4 of the questions were “look at the table/graph” questions. Reading was normal imo, usually pretty easy, english was also normal. Math was so weird for me. I breezed through the first 52 questions in like 45 minutes, and then the math got way harder and I think I butchered like 4 of them, which ****es me off because on every single one of the like 4 practice tests I’ve taken I’ve gotten something like 58-60 of the math questions right. I actually really liked the essay, thought it was mad easy.

Optimistically I’d like to say I got a 35 - pessimistically 33

would 59/60 be a 36 possibly?

Hey everyone. I personally felt that the english was easy (maybe 3-5 that actually took a little thinking), math was a breeze, but reading and science were very difficult. The reading practically had 2 prose passages… Well now we all get to wait the 5-8 weeks :(

I went into the ACT saturday basically blind so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. I’ve been studying for the SAT and all I really knew going into the test were that the questions are more direct but there’s less time to get through everything. I think that the math was the hardest section from this weekend, but mostly because I was an idiot and took 5 minutes on an easy limit problem and then completely forgot what a stem and leaf plot is. The reading I was surprised I got through (I often come close to running out of time on the SAT) but I felt pretty confident. English and science were incredibly simple and I’d be surprised if I got anything less than a 35 in either. The essay made me laugh trying to think of who would argue against regulations, but I guess if you can make the argument feel free to do so.

I broke my essay down into three areas: students’ health, school quality, and economics. First paragraph I talked about how students spend a majority of their daily lives in or near the school, so pollution could cause a whole mess of health complications. Second paragraph I talked about how the pollution could hinder student focus and performance which would send the school downhill. Third paragraph I talked about how the economics would play out. Although the regulations would probably cost the factories more money, due to recent trends in consumerism, “going green” could increase their profits. Even if the factories were unable to meet the regulations and had to move, property values in the area would go up and the local economy would benefit anyway.
Overall I thought it was a good test. I surprisingly preferred it over the SAT, but maybe I was just more relaxed. I hope everyone does as well as they hoped and may the curve be ever in you favor ;)

i thought i did well but you never know hopefully a 36 though…

I thought it was a good test. To me, English was easy, math wasnt too bad, reading was normal, and science was pretty easy. I’m curious to see how the scores come out. I’m hoping for a 30-31. I got a 28 last time going into the test blindly. I felt great about this one.

Anyone have any predictions for the curves of each of the four sections?

I’m hoping the curve will be for the Reading and Science sections

Just 9 more days, guys! 8 if you plan to stay up on Sunday night!

Do all scores come out at midnight tonight? I’m debating whether or not to stay up :/

Has anyone seen them? I can’t…

33!!! im so happy!! I orginially got a 28, but studied a ton and it jumped!!!

AHHH!

I got 33 too texas! Congrats! So stoked!

35, first time. I totally didn’t expect reading to mess me up. Math curve was pretty generous.

35 Composite.

34 English
36 Math
34 Reading
35 Science

So darn close…
