Do you guys think that this curve is going to be similar to the act raw score (you can go google it since I can’t post links on here) or way different? If so, will it be better or worse than the raw act score?
@whattheheck22 yup, it says scores will begin to be available on April 28
@desie1 yeah I’m pretty sure we all had the same test
I feel like it will be just like the December curve.
what does that mean @16jpatel ?
I wish I could fast forward 10 days
what was different about the math format? Some people say there was nothing different.
@AsianDoctor this test was very similar to level of difficulty in all sections to the December test. So I think it will be curved the same way, I know that -9 in reading is a 27 and -10 in science is a 26.
@marsha.ss there was nothing different in the format. it was that the difficulty of the questions increased significantly IMO. there seemed to be a lot more trig on there. (not that i didn’t know how to do it but still…)
@Newdle @anxiousgirl24 @outlooker @sched234 @Jamesesesess
Please let me know also. Thanks!
@Willynilly123 that’s about a 33
they should really update the red book to match the changed format in the science and reading sections.
Is it normal to feel so uneasy about your performance?
why is the science and reading different now. is it going to change even more in the future ?
@AsianDoctor probably. they didn’t even announce these new changes so they might even put more.
anyone have expected curves for the science? What score would be a 30?
Can anyone please tell me what they think my scores could be?
English 2-4
Math 2-3
Reading 4-9
Science 4-6 (I blew the last passage with quarks)
@JT199854 on the low end it’s a 31 and on the high end it’s a 33, so somewhere in that range
I doubt the Reading curve will be generous just because they added a double paragraph. It’s not an entirely new thing and it was one of the easiest passages out of the rest.
This may seem absurd but do you guys think emailing the, about the sudden change in format might influence them to give a more generous curve? Lol
