APs for placement?

Anyone know if we can get placement (and not take the placement tests) based on AP scores? I think someone mentioned something about it back in May, but I can't find anything about it anywhere. Thanks.

uh.....im kinda scared because i never ended up getting my AP scores in the mail...

I know all about it.
You don't get anything.
Okay.. you get something. Two of your AP Tests (score 4 or 5) count towards the 32 required courses for graduation. They don't fullfill any specific class or anything. It's basically so for 2 semesters you can take 3 classes instead of 4 and still graduate on time. In case you have an intership or something like that.
For that reason, i saved myself the 400 bucks and only took at total of 2 AP tests in 2 years as opposed to the original 6. Yeah my school flipped a b, but it was worth it. I woudln't pay 400 bucks just to know what I got.
So yea, basically, AP tests are meaningless at Pomona but it dosen't matter because unlike UCLA for example, you don't have to worry about graduation on time and you'll probably want to take as many classes as you can at Pomona.

Oh, one correction. A language test does fullfill the requirement. That and a good SAT II score.
