So APUSH is not my best subject…I have worked extremely hard for an A, but I think I might get a B (which might cause me to get rejected from a lot of the schools I’m looking at)…Do you all have any advice for studying for tests? Our class uses the Enduring Vision textbook
Especially practice tests/quizzes?
This book was a lifesaver when I took APUSH in 2013, so I’d highly recommend looking into it: http://www.amscopub.com/viewProduct.php?productID=1287101. The chapters are fairly short and easy to understand, it has practice multiple choice and essay question with each section to track how you’re doing, as well as a practice exam at the end.
Other than that, I would just say keep up with your reading and make sure you’re understanding all of the material. Timelines of important people and events were helpful when I was learning it, as well as concept maps for big ideas or events.
And here’s a YouTube channel of a teacher’s lectures that I thought were really helpful when I was cramming for the AP exam: https://www.youtube.com/user/awaizy. It’s a little boring, but he explains things really well and it should refresh your memory from class a little bit.
Good luck!
