For those who have used AMSCO for the APUSH Exam, which textbook did you guys have for your course?

The Enduring Vision

The American Pageant 13th ed.

The American Pageant 13th edition, too.

Anybody had the america past and present revised seventh ap edition textbook?

The Enduring Vision

The American Pageant

American Pageant 13th

American Pageant 13th edition.
My teacher said that its the Rolls Royce of APUSH textbooks

American Pageant is the dominant book for APUSH.

American Pageant 13th edition as well.

^ Ditto…

We used “America: Past and Present.”. It’s not a very useful book to use alone. It’s way too detailed which makes it difficult to note the necessary information. You should read it and take notes to get a big picture understanding, but also make flashcards of key concepts, people, and events, and use the AMSCO review book. Hope this helps!

We used The American Pageant 14th edition.

^Wow, the new book with a glossary finally.

Finally! Someone who has used America Past and Present! It is definitely TOO detailed. Sucks that I have a huge summer assignment for APUSH and the first part of it is due on the 16th How did you do in your class fairydust?

The class itself was really easy. My teacher based grades on chapter quizzes (he provided us with a list of people and concepts that appeared in the chapter and as long as you looked them up the night before the quiz, you were fine, and the chapter tests, which were basically easy as long as you had taken notes and studied the key terms. I didn’t use the amsco review book until close to the ap test so I don’t know how it will help you in class. But I was able to keep close to a 4.0 all year without it. Good luck!

Sorry for the lack of “)”. I’m typing on a phone and can’t read the whole message, so I forgot about it!

The American Pageant. It was the shiz.

i got the 11th?fail…
