ARC Shuttle?

I got this in my email today:

ASUCI Shuttle Route Update

The new school year is bringing some changes to the ASUCI Shuttles. We have made some changes to several of our routes and we would like to take this opportunity to explain some of them in detail.

Due to the completion of the ARC Parking Structure, ARC-CT Shuttle has been discontinued.

The Newport Beach Shuttle will no longer run on Saturdays. We will still offer weekday service for a nominal fee.

Last of all, the Parkwest Shuttle will now be known as the Parkwest - Carlson Shuttle. It will continue to service the Parkwest Apartments, but will now travel back to the campus via Carlson Ave., servicing the Park Place Shopping Center, Villa Sienna Apartments, and Toscana Apartments. There is a nominal fee for this route.

Please visit Shuttle Services - Home for all updates and for scheduling information.

How do I get to the ARC now? I'm living in Mesa Court and I know it's far from the ARC. I was really looking forward to going there and working out too.

Yikes. I’m also an incoming freshman, and glad to be in ME. Best alternative is to find someone to give you ride I guess.

I’m glad I did a last minute switch. But its lame that Newport Beach Shuttle is no longer available on Saturday. Not sure the distance between Mesa and ARC. Is it that far to walk from? You know…walking is a pretty good exercise.

I heard it was about a 20-30 minute walk from Mesa at orientation, though I haven’t gone there yet either.

Well think of it as a good warm up :P
