Architecture Admissions counselor

Does anyone know if there is still an admissions counselor who is specific to the architecture program? I know it used to be Andrew Farrier but it doesn’t look like he’s still there.

No, Andrew left to focus on his acting career. In fact he had a bit part in “The Big Short”, which was filmed in NOLA and on Tulane’s campus Reilly Center and Devlin Fieldhouse. He also is a guide for one of those NOLA tour companies, at least last I heard.

I am almost sure they replaced him, but I don’t remember the new name. I will see if I can find it in my archives somewhere or some other way.

Thanks FC. I couldn’t find it on the site. Another question…Do you know if anyone ever has success going back for additional merit $ once the student has been performing really well at Tulane?

No, once the merit amount is set that’s it. Now I have seen people that have need based packages actually get their grant portion increased and loan amount decreased based on high level performance. Well, more accurately I have been told of it, but directly from the people that got it so I think it is reliable. Also, and I have never looked into this so you would have to ask someone (not even sure who), but there might be a few awards based on certain criteria that are given to current students. If they exist, they are probably for one year only, but still might be worth asking the question. Maybe the head of Financial Aid would know.

But in the world of US colleges in general, as far as I can tell, almost everything is set once you enter freshman year, except of course for need based aid which is reassessed every year. I think this is true for outside scholarships as well, such as Rotary, Intel, etc.
