I have recently been accepted to MIT and was wondering how good their architecture program is. I know they are the best in the world in engineering (and I may even consider changing my major if I go there), but I was wondering where they rank in terms of architecture schools (because i know they only have a 4 year program)

I don't think the undergrad arch program will be "ranked" because it is not a BArch degree program.

Its graduate school program for architecture was ranked second last year and may be third this year but I do not have a copy of that list at present.

It would be a really good school to study architecture as a major, but you would have to go on to earn a MArch degree some place. Given that MIT's Arch School itself is well regarded, I would imagine that its undergraduate offerings would be pretty good.

By the way, my daughter is a first year in the MArch degree program at MIT.

awesome...hope she likes it...thanks for the information

Congrats on your awesome acceptance!

You may wish to contact the member, mootmom....her son is an undergrad in architecture at MIT.

I'm a freshman in the architecture program there, so maybe I could be of some help. You can PM me.
