Princeton's dual degree is better for the other degree, not an AB in architecture, which is ok. DOnt know anything about MIT's. Do you want to to a professional degree (BArch) or a BA in architecture?
YOu acnt practice with a BA, but you can with a BArch. You will need to do an MArch with a BA to practice.

bump

(what does bump mean) I have decided not to try for neither, thank you. It's not worth it competing against all the others for a pre-professional program.

Bump= Bring Up My Post

so what, bneg, are you planning to go for?

Hello all. Cornell Arch and Harvard GSD(graduate taking questions! (congrats on admissions to all of you)

Hi, what does bring up my post mean?
i_wonder, what does that post mean? sorry, I'm a newb.
i am planning to go for Cornell, u cincinnati, texas at austin and kansas state. I'm an international student too! Taiwanese in Canada. If I get TOEFL exemption I would like to go for syracuse and rice, but these are definitely not top choices.

to avoid offending anyone, why is syr and rice not top choices? well, texas and kansas have dual degree programs, cin's co-op education i think is extremely interesting, and cornell has summer programs to accelerate the five year curriculum.

dual degree as in arch and arch eng. These are all wonderful schools!

Rice is the best of the lot.....but im biased because im going there this fall.

I know a friend of a friend in Cincy's architecture program who is currently doing his co-op at Fisher-Price designing little toy houses. I mean, I'm not an architecture person, but I think that would be a pretty fun co-op. Designing toy houses!

Hello everyone.. I'm new to this site and will be a senior high school student this fall.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any good sites with information on different architecture colleges, i'm sure there's probably been some posted but i don't have time to read 14 pages of messages. XD
Also, what are the better architecture programs in the more northern parts of the US? I'm from minnesota and I would probably melt if i went someplace down south... x_X

hi jimminy, i asked rice if they had any other TOEFL exemption besides being a native speaker, would you happen to know if there are other exemptions like a minimum SAT verbal score? I want to apply there but I really do not want to take the TOEFL.

hi tmth, here's the list from our hero cama.
