I just want to hear a few "bios", so to speak. I'm going to be a junior next year and recently settled on majoring in architecture (weather it be engineering or not) and a minor in art history. When i say "bio" I mean just an overview of what you did in high school. For example what was you GPA , what sort of ECs you were involved in,what classes did you take, what kind of summer programs you were involved in. I am especially interested in what people who go to some of the top schools did. Of course, any information from any architecture major would be greatly appreciate.

also, if there are other things (other than the ones listed above) that gave you an upper hand share it with us.

Well I am in grad school now. But I just graduated from a 5 year architecture schools (Bachelors of Architecture) is what I received. High school was a long time ago now, but I was Captain of my swim team, Student Gov President, Volunteered, had a 3.7 gpa and a 1300 on the old SAT. I went to USC for my undergrad so I assume they had a very different admissions style then many of the public schools.

My son is interested in USC for Architecture. It is his top choice. He will be a HS senior this fall. He visited USC last summer and liked the campus. In hindsight, what is your opinion of the USC architecture program? He is also applying to U of Cincinnati, Penn State, and Syracuse (we visited all 3 last week).
