Are All Applicants invited to Wildcat Days (April 26-28?) with Transportation Covered

I think all admits are invited to the wildcat days, but they only pay the transportation for a few students. If you’re making your final decisions and serious considering NU, then you should visit. I mean, you ARE going to live there for the next four years of your life

…two nights with a current student?

I only stayed one night when I did Wildcat Days last year. And I have heard nothing about doing this! My friend in SAC doesn’t even know how Wildcat Days is working. Weeeeeird.

It is weird. The schedule online has one day and an optional day two, so I have no idea how this two day thing’s gonna work out…

So NW sent you this email with your CC user name?

Um, I replaced my name w/ my cc user name

do most people go visit with their families? or by themselves? is there something for the parents to do? and also are the flights of the parents covered or just the students?

… that’s all I can say …

how come i didn’t get an email…

not everyone was invited to the april 26-28 with free transportation and overnights. i’m not sure why. everyone else was invited to the other wildcat days though - the april 13, 20, or 27 ones.

hee hee… thats all i can say

I got this too. For the overnight thing, we stay with a current student right?

I got an email for this too. Are families invited to this too? Like parents, I mean? Or is it only for the students?

Leave the parents at home. They aren’t the focus and tend to distract from all that will be going on.

^Yeah, mine will make negative comments about everything and ruin my day…

Hey, if we’re flying, do we just print out the flight confirmation that the travel company sent via email and take that to the airport? and how far away is the hotel where the reception is?

Well, I guess Willard isn’t hosting any students then. Admissions told us that there are no overnights planned this year, even though that’s what they’re telling you guys. :/

Dante, I’m pretty sure you just print off the email and then at the airport they will give you your boarding ticket. The hotel must be walking distance… I’m just guessing because they would definitely provide a shuttle otherwise. Omg I’m so excited!!

Does anyone know where I can find an itinerary for this trip?

I think they’re giving us the itinerary when we arrive. But if you happen to find it somewhere, that’d be nice too =)

I emailed Robert Walton or whoever’s in charge. He says it’s just the itinerary on the Wildcat Days website. Day 1 = Monday, Day 2 = Tuesday with “little programming on Sunday.”
