<p>I thought I read decisions were guaranteed by April 15th, but can't confirm it</p>
<p>Another post said decisions were only coming by mail, is this true</p>
<p>My completed application date on my status page says January 7th. My high school recomendation was sent by mail and then when I realized it wasn't getting processed sent it online Jan 26. Do they go by the application date on the status page or when they recieve everything?</p>
<p>I am curious about this too. My app was sent in December, but thanks to UMich’s crappy mail sorting, my rec wasn’t processed until late January (my teacher sent it out early December). This is absolutely ridiculous.</p>
<p>I think every other school in the top 75 has made their admissions decisions…except for Michigan.</p>
<p>The agony of waiting. Next year they should make their app’s due on January 1st to avoid this.</p>

<p>i’ve been told that if the decision comes via mail and our decision is not shown on WA, then we are rejected or waitlisted. Is this true? I saw my WA status and it says that my decision has been mailed out.</p>
<p>same problem here! my app was in dec. 3 and teacher reccs lost so file not complete till mid jan. that really messes up our chances.</p>
